PROGRAM EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES
BS Civil Engineering BS Electrical Engineering BS Mechanical Engineering
Within five years of graduation, the graduates of Civil Engineering program shall have:
  1. Applied their knowledge, skills, and abilities to solve complex engineering problems ethically and responsibly, communicate effectively with various audiences, and demonstrate leadership and teamwork skills
  2. Built a strong foundation in the fundamentals of civil engineering and the commitment to engage in lifelong learning to stay current with advancements in the field.
  3. Designed and implemented sustainable and environmentally responsible civil engineering solutions, and the awareness of the social and ethical implications of their work.
Within five years of graduation, the graduates of Electrical Engineering program shall have:
  1. Demonstrated technical expertise, professionalism, and ethics in power, energy, entrepreneurship, or other related fields in the practice of Electrical Engineering for the advancement of industry and society.
  2. Exemplified life-long learning via progress toward completion of an advanced degree, professional development/continuing education courses, or industrial training courses.
  3. Exhibited substantial involvement in projects that take into consideration safety, health, environmental concerns, and the public welfare, partly through adherence to required codes and laws as well as demonstration of professional success via promotions and/or positions of increasing responsibility.
Within five years of graduation, the graduates of Mechanical Engineering program shall have:
  1. Demonstrate competency in applying engineering principles in the analysis, design or implementation of mechanical industries as evidenced by professional employment, promotions or entrepreneurial ventures.
  2. Engage in continuous professional development or stay updated with emerging technologies and trends in mechanical engineering as demonstrated by certifications, additional courses, advanced degrees or attending conferences.
  3. Contribute to community service or outreach programs that use engineering principles for local or international challenges to make positive impact through volunteer work, mentorship or public speaking engagements.
