On May 28, 2026, the Department of Industrial Education (DED) of the Technological University of the Philippines–Cavite (TUP-Cavite) conducted its Off-Campus Practice Teaching (OPT) Closing at the TUPC Audio Visual Room, recognizing the successful completion of the internship program of the Class of 2026 pre-service teachers.
The event marked the return of the pre-service teachers who were pinned on January 30, 2026, before their deployment to various cooperating schools. Having successfully completed their challenging practice teaching assignments, they gathered once again to celebrate the culmination of their intense internship journey.
During the program, the student teachers actively shared their memorable experiences, key challenges faced in the classroom, and critical learnings gained throughout their deployment in the field.

The event opened with welcoming remarks from Prof. Maria Cecilia N. Reyes, while Prof. Michelle Mag-isa, Prof. Ma. Juliet Patria Escalona, and DED Head Prof. Benefrido Reyes highly commended the students for their outstanding professional development and successful completion of the internship program.
Campus Director Dr. Alexander Mag-isa also graced the event to express his full support and extended his warmest congratulations to the pre-service teachers for upholding the university's standards of excellence in their cooperating host schools.
The program formally concluded with inspiring closing remarks delivered by Prof. Benefrido Reyes, highlighting that this OPT Closing event serves as a fitting conclusion to the students’ rigorous internship experience. It beautifully highlighted their experiences and professional growth, firmly affirming their readiness and strengthened commitment as future technical and industrial educators.
